Responsibilities
- Design software architecture for WLAN firmware features.
- Develop, release, and maintain WLAN firmware for networking and wireless products.
- Collaborate with peer teams to define software interfaces.
- Design and implement software for performance, modularity, and portability.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 3+ years of software engineering or related experience; alternatively, a master’s degree plus 2+ years or a PhD plus 1+ year.
- 9+ years of experience designing and implementing embedded software or firmware for networking or wireless products.
- 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Expertise in C programming.
- Experience with the 802.11 protocol is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, architectural, communication, and interpersonal skills.
