Base Salary
$100k - $120k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop robust, scalable software applications for new business initiatives.
- Write, test, implement, audit, and troubleshoot maintainable production code in Python and Java.
- Manage projects from conception through deployment with minimal supervision and own technical decisions and outcomes.
- Identify optimization opportunities and advocate for continuous technical improvements.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and professional development support.
- Collaborate with clients, colleagues, management, and stakeholders to explain complex issues and deliver solutions.
- Recommend future development options and technology choices aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Experience shipping production software in Python and Java.
- Strong technical competency, problem-solving, debugging, communication, collaboration, organization, adaptability, and ownership skills.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude and comfort integrating them into the workflow.
- Experience with cloud platforms and microservices architecture.
