Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native, microservices-based applications for a liquidity risk management platform.
- Develop, review, debug, and troubleshoot secure, high-quality production software.
- Build scalable, reliable architectures that support zero-downtime releases, strong resiliency, and optimized data performance.
- Use domain modeling techniques to create clear, testable, and evolvable software.
- Investigate and resolve recurring issues while automating remediation and improving operational stability.
- Lead software engineering communities of practice and promote adoption of modern technologies and patterns.
- Contribute to an inclusive team culture and share best practices across the organization.
Requirements
- 12+ years of hands-on software engineering experience spanning system design, application development, testing, and operational support.
- Proficiency with backend technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, or Node.js and experience building microservices-based applications.
- For full-stack development, proficiency with frontend technologies such as React or Angular.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, distributed systems, web technologies, RESTful APIs, and web services.
- Hands-on experience with Databricks or Snowflake and with AI agents.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, automation, continuous delivery, application resiliency, security, and the software development life cycle.
- Ability to independently solve design and functionality challenges with minimal supervision.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, mentoring, stakeholder-management, problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Banking domain experience and AWS certification are preferred.
