Base Salary
$85k - $102k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop automation and use monitoring tools to ensure system reliability.
- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, 24x7 Site Reliability rotations, and escalation workflows.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks through code optimization, configuration changes, and infrastructure upgrade recommendations.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure software designs meet operational requirements.
- Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase system reliability and efficiency.
- Investigate complex issues involving code, networking, operating systems, and storage solutions.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or in an equivalent role.
- At least 2 years of development experience with one or more major programming languages.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud computing platforms.
- Experience with observability and logging technologies.
- Experience with at least one major relational database management system and one NoSQL data store.
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent job experience.
- Preferred experience includes C#, Java, Go, Python, Terraform, Grafana, Splunk, RESTful APIs, and GitOps.
