Responsibilities

  • Design and implement end-to-end cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Lead lift-and-shift and re-architecture migrations of on-premise workloads to GCP.
  • Develop scalable, secure, and cost-optimized solutions.
  • Define cloud governance, best practices, and architecture standards.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate GCP services and tools.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and performance optimization.
  • Create architecture diagrams, documentation, and technical designs.
  • Support CI/CD implementation, automation, and DevOps adoption.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing cloud infrastructure.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience with GCP services, including Compute Engine, App Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Firestore, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, and Dataproc.
  • Expertise in cloud architecture design patterns.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
  • Knowledge of networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, load balancing, VPN, and DNS.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts including IAM, encryption, and firewall rules.
  • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools including Jenkins, Git, and Cloud Build.
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes containerization.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Monitoring and Logging.
