Responsibilities
- Design and implement secure, efficient backend services and REST APIs using C#, Python, and ASP.NET.
- Develop front-end interfaces and components using WPF, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Build desktop and high-performance software for acquiring, processing, and visualizing microscopy datasets.
- Design, implement, and deploy microservices in containerized environments using Kubernetes or similar platforms.
- Participate in code reviews, diagnose software defects, and promote code quality, test stability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with distributed developers, product owners, architects, stakeholders, and DevOps teams across multiple countries.
- Document software designs, architecture, and development processes.
- Mentor developers, learn TEM and SEMI domain knowledge, and test solutions on TEM equipment.
- Apply AI tools to improve software development productivity, quality, and delivery speed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field with software development expertise.
- 8+ years of proven experience as a full-stack software engineer with a strong focus on .NET technologies.
- Proficiency in front-end development with WPF, TypeScript, and HTML/CSS.
- Experience designing, implementing, and deploying microservices in containerized environments and platforms such as Kubernetes.
- Strong problem-solving ability and experience resolving complex technical challenges.
- Experience with AI/ML, deep convolutional neural networks, image processing, or related areas is preferred.
- Experience applying AI tools in day-to-day software development is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, and multicultural environment.
