Responsibilities
- Build and scale full-stack products for B2B payments using frontend, backend, and cloud technologies.
- Contribute across the product lifecycle, including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Make architectural decisions for robust, scalable systems supporting payment processing, fraud prevention, API integrations, data synchronization, and user experience optimization.
- Help integrate Melio’s payment platform with Xero’s accounting software while maintaining security and reliability.
- Work with AWS serverless infrastructure and the engineering team’s TypeScript and Python stack.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience involving frontend and backend development.
- Experience with at least one of React, Vue, or Angular.
- Deep understanding of production systems and web product architecture.
- Excellent knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
- At least 1 year of Node.js experience is a bonus qualification.
- Ability to learn independently, collaborate proactively, and contribute to the team, product, and customers.
