Responsibilities
- Manage and troubleshoot client onboarding pipelines within the Azure platform.
- Align client requirements with Platform-as-a-Service features and define new features when needed.
- Schedule and optimize client batch jobs using an enterprise scheduler, including moving jobs toward event-driven operation.
- Participate in Azure platform problem management and provide weekend support as needed for availability.
- Lead design workshops with clients, vendors, and stakeholders onsite and virtually.
- Perform configuration management and disaster recovery tasks for new environments.
- Work in an Agile, sprint-based team to deliver complex onboarding programs.
- Mentor junior colleagues and support knowledge sharing and team development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field; a master’s degree is a plus.
- At least 3 years of operational experience troubleshooting mission-critical software systems.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud environments, primarily Azure; AWS exposure is helpful.
- Understanding of networking, virtualization, storage, secrets management, messaging, and serverless computing.
- Experience with Linux and Windows systems, preferably including systems administration.
- Experience using command-line interfaces.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps deployment automation and Jenkins.
- Experience with infrastructure as code using Terraform, Ansible, and ARM.
- Knowledge of version control tools such as GitHub.
- Experience or understanding of Kubernetes and Docker.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Grafana.
- Ability to learn new technologies and work effectively in a dynamic, sometimes stressful environment.
