Responsibilities
- Plan and implement security technologies and major releases for critical enterprise cloud platform projects.
- Design, implement, deploy, and improve cloud security systems to meet business needs.
- Provide expert technical support, production operations, troubleshooting, and incident response for cloud computing systems.
- Develop auditing methodologies and architecture to manage and protect data in cloud environments.
- Promote code through development, test, and production environments and provide follow-up production support.
- Perform systems analysis, requirements definition, logical design, system administration, and technical documentation.
- Train and mentor junior staff and resolve complex issues escalated from other team members.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering or platform engineering experience.
- Required DevOps experience and experience developing applications with Java, Python, or similar languages.
- Experience with cloud platforms, distributed systems, microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and source control platforms.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization concepts and experience troubleshooting production systems and participating in incident response.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience with OAuth 2.0, FIDO2, WebAuthn, Passkeys, MFA, identity orchestration platforms, observability and monitoring platforms, SRE practices, containers, infrastructure as code, resiliency engineering, disaster recovery, and large-scale authentication platforms.
- Preferred experience in financial services, cybersecurity, or highly regulated environments.
