Base Salary
$157k - $184k/yr
Responsibilities
- Contribute to technical implementation across the Developer Platform.
- Improve the speed, reliability, and developer experience of the monorepo CI/CD pipeline.
- Productionize the DriftlessAF agentic AI platform, including agent observability, RAG, and context-engineering patterns.
- Consolidate fragmented build systems and deliver standardized paved-road blueprints for product teams.
- Identify developer toil, codify reusable patterns, and automate repetitive manual work.
- Participate in design and code reviews and contribute to technical direction, engineering velocity, and operational excellence.
- Partner with engineering leaders and teams across the company to improve product delivery outcomes.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience building and operating production services and platform infrastructure in modern cloud environments.
- Proficiency with Go (Golang) or strong readiness to ramp up quickly.
- Experience with CI/CD systems, container-based orchestration, and tooling for scaling large monorepos across build, test, and release.
- Ability to connect prior technical experience with AI-driven development practices such as LLM-based automation and context engineering.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to identify and automate repetitive work with engineers across the company.
- Experience scaling GitHub Actions, Argo Workflows, Buildkite, or comparable build and workflow systems is preferred.
- Experience with DORA and SPACE developer experience metrics and related instrumentation is preferred.
- Experience operating a large Go monorepo and its surrounding tooling is preferred.
- Familiarity with supply chain security, OCI, Kubernetes, or open source software communities is preferred.
- Experience running stakeholder feedback loops with engineering teams as customers is preferred.
