Responsibilities

  • Plan and design test methodologies for cloud-based enterprise-grade wireless networks.
  • Collaborate with functional groups to develop and execute test strategies.
  • Perform thorough testing of cloud-based wireless product features and solutions.
  • Identify defects, debug them with developers, determine root causes, and drive issues to closure.
  • Recommend software improvements to enhance user experience.
  • Work with the automation team to develop feature-automation test scripts.
  • Set up testbeds and use RF equipment, tools, sniffers, and packet captures for testing and analysis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s, master’s, or equivalent degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • At least four years of experience in networking domains including VLANs, switches, TCP/IP, and DHCP.
  • At least four years of experience with Wi-Fi 802.11 technology and enterprise Wi-Fi solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with network management systems and/or cloud-managed enterprise networks.
  • Hands-on experience with RF equipment, testing tools, sniffers, and packet-capture analysis.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs, HTTP methods, and JSON.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Git, and Jira.
  • Testbed setup experience.
  • Familiarity with Wi-Fi 11ax and 6e products is preferred.
  • Familiarity with PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch or other SQL/NoSQL databases is preferred.
