Responsibilities
- Use AI coding assistants daily to improve engineering productivity and delivery quality.
- Integrate LLM APIs into production applications while managing token limits, latency, cost, and abstraction layers.
- Apply AI-assisted testing, debugging, code review, and prompt engineering across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for reliability, limitations, failure modes, and production readiness.
- Define and track KPIs for AI-assisted workflow effectiveness, productivity, quality, and ROI, and present metrics to stakeholders.
- Own software delivery from design through production support in Agile sprint cycles with client engineering teams.
- Build full-stack application layers, APIs, and interfaces that connect systems to agentic backends and AI pipelines.
- Contribute reusable components, shared knowledge bases, and internal AI tooling standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience through academic projects, internships, or shipped personal projects.
- Commercial software engineering experience in production environments or equivalent project-based experience.
- Proficiency in at least one primary backend language: Python, Java, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in daily engineering work and calling LLM APIs in production code.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Understanding of AI limitations, responsible AI use, and methods for validating and improving AI-generated outputs.
- Familiarity with agentic system concepts, LangChain or LangGraph, RAG pipelines, and application integration with agent-based architectures; production experience is preferred.
