Responsibilities
- Deliver features end to end by designing and building Angular screens, FastAPI endpoints, and Azure Kubernetes Service deployments.
- Build data-heavy interfaces including multi-step wizards, editable tables, charts, and live model-job logs.
- Implement Figma designs using design-system tokens and meet WCAG 2.1 AA accessibility requirements.
- Define frontend code structure and state management using NgRx and Angular signals.
- Review pull requests and propose improvements to frontend conventions.
- Diagnose and fix QA and operator defects in either the client or API.
- Release features and hotfixes to production.
- Work with product, design, frontend, backend, QA, and operations teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience, primarily on the frontend, including at least 3 years of Angular experience.
- At least 2 years of backend development in Python with production APIs, PostgreSQL, and Alembic migrations.
- Experience with TypeScript, RxJS, and NgRx or Angular signals.
- Experience building UIs with data grids, charts, and complex reactive forms.
- Experience implementing accessible interfaces from Figma designs to WCAG 2.1 AA.
- Experience building REST APIs with schemas, validation, error status codes, and pagination on both client and server.
- Experience with Polars or pandas and exporting tabular data to Excel workbooks.
- Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing using Playwright or Cypress.
- Docker and Kubernetes expertise, including diagnosing pod failures.
- Experience with Model Context Protocol servers or similar tools that allow LLM agents to call APIs.
- Experience providing specific code-review feedback and explaining technical decisions to product engineers and designers.
