Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end performance testing and performance engineering activities.
- Define performance strategies, workload models, test plans, scripts, and execution approaches for enterprise applications.
- Use Micro Focus LoadRunner, LRE, and JMeter to create and automate performance tests.
- Design complex scenarios representing real-world user patterns across supported protocols and applications.
- Configure test environments, test data, access requirements, monitoring profiles, performance metrics, and dashboards.
- Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks and SLA discrepancies, and recommend performance tuning and optimization actions.
- Publish performance analysis reports and conduct review sessions with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business, development, architecture, infrastructure, QA, and other teams on performance decisions.
- Manage team activities, make team decisions, facilitate knowledge sharing, and monitor project progress.
- Perform continuous testing for security, API, and regression suites and support defect reporting and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Micro Focus LoadRunner is required.
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Strong understanding of performance testing methodologies, best practices, and performance engineering concepts.
- Experience with LRE and JMeter, scripting and automation, performance analysis, and actionable recommendations.
- Proficiency with Web (HTTP/HTML), Web Services, TruClient, Citrix, SAP-GUI, Kafka, and MQ protocols or technologies.
- Knowledge of Dynatrace, AppDynamics, and New Relic for monitoring, metrics configuration, and dashboard creation.
- Understanding of JVM concepts, SQL queries, application functionality, architecture, design principles, and performance SLAs.
- Experience with MAWM (Manhattan Warehouse Management) is good to have.
- Ability to collaborate across multiple teams and serve as a subject matter expert.
