Base Salary
$82k - $172k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead or support a small team of developers and researchers implementing AI/ML algorithms for computer vision and remote sensing.
- Analyze and preprocess large remote-sensing datasets.
- Research supervised and unsupervised automatic target recognition solutions and multimodal data fusion approaches.
- Train, optimize, and deploy deep-learning computer vision models that provide actionable insights.
- Review publications, explain key concepts to government customers, and apply research to defense and commercial applications.
- Write technical documentation for code, program capabilities, and user guides.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI government security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in machine learning, computer science, mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of computer vision AI/ML development experience.
- Proficiency with Python and machine-learning or computer-vision libraries including PyTorch, Lightning, OpenCV, NumPy, and Polars.
- Experience with supervised and unsupervised learning, convolutional or transformer-based computer vision models, and model training.
- Preferred qualifications include an MS or PhD, self-supervised learning and student-teacher approaches, image processing and multimodal fusion, graph convolutional networks, SAR/EO/OPIR imagery, named overhead-imagery datasets, AWS, Linux, version control, tracking and fusion, pattern-of-life algorithms, application deployment, virtualization, and containerization.
