Base Salary

$204k - $284k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Reverse engineer complex software and firmware targets across Windows, Linux, embedded systems, and non-traditional architectures.
  • Develop automated reverse-engineering and binary-analysis tools to characterize protocols, interfaces, and functionality.
  • Research vulnerabilities and perform vulnerability weaponization, exploit development, payload development, and exploit mitigation.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams working on advanced reverse-engineering and exploitation programs.
  • Develop cybersecurity solutions and solve problems supporting national-security missions.
  • Conduct technical marketing, proposal development, research documentation, demonstrations, and presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field plus a minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
  • An MS or PhD with equivalent work experience may also be considered.
  • Active Top Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship required by the U.S. Government.
  • Substantial experience leading technical teams on advanced reverse-engineering and exploitation programs.
  • Experience with software and firmware binary analysis, disassembly tools, vulnerability research, and vulnerability exploitation.
  • Proficiency in multiple assembly languages and at least one programming language, including examples such as x86, ARM, C, C++, and Python.
  • Experience or knowledge in binary emulation, custom emulation tools, disassembler/decompiler development, code and data-flow analysis, operating-system internals, embedded systems, protocols, binary formats, anti-reverse-engineering techniques, intrusion detection, and anti-malware systems.
  • Experience with tools such as IDA Pro, Binary Ninja, Ghidra, QEMU, or AFL++ and DSP architectures from Texas Instruments, STMicroelectronics, NXP, or Analog Devices is desirable.
