Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end delivery of full-stack features from UI through backend and deployment.
- Build and ship production AI systems using RAG, tool-calling, agent workflows, structured prompting, evaluations, and guardrails.
- Prototype quickly and harden systems for security, reliability, auditability, and cost control.
- Use AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Windsurf, and Copilot while maintaining code quality.
- Make technical decisions about architecture patterns, trade-offs, and scope boundaries.
- Collaborate directly with strategists, clients, and senior engineers to unblock delivery.
- Configure environments, CI/CD, secrets, and deployments with support for increased complexity.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building production software across frontend and backend development.
- Hands-on experience delivering Gen-AI features in real products rather than experiments or demos.
- Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience with React, Next.js, Node.js, Nest, Express, or similar frameworks.
- Experience with SQL databases such as Postgres, caches, and vector stores.
- Ability to design secure, production-grade systems involving RBAC authentication, secrets, auditability, and PII-aware data handling.
- Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or Vercel and familiarity with CI/CD fundamentals.
- Clear communication skills, including the ability to explain technical trade-offs to non-engineers.
- Ability to work embedded with a client team.
- Preferred experience in retail, hospitality, logistics, healthcare, regulated environments, or consulting and agency delivery.
