Responsibilities
- Define comprehensive QA strategies, test plans, test cases, test environments, and testing timelines for computer vision applications.
- Design and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts across the software development lifecycle.
- Develop rigorous tests for object detection, image segmentation, facial recognition, model accuracy, data quality, and edge-case scenarios.
- Lead manual, functional, integration, regression, performance, UAT, smoke, and post-release testing activities.
- Manage test data, test artifacts, quality metrics, defects, status reporting, and QA process compliance.
- Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
- Lead root cause analysis for post-production defects and drive continuous improvement of QA processes and tools.
- Audit configuration settings and deployment pipelines to support system stability, reliability, and reduced downtime.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience in software QA, software testing, or test engineering.
- At least 1 year of experience in a lead QA or senior QA role with team coordination and mentorship responsibilities.
- Hands-on experience with manual testing, automated testing, and test automation framework development and maintenance.
- Proficiency in Python or shell scripting for test scripts and QA automation.
- Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger and familiarity with unit testing and CI/CD integration.
- Experience with test case management and defect management systems such as Jira, Zephyr Scale, TestRail, Xray, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum QA processes, SDLC, STLC, test planning, effort estimation, and risk assessment.
- Demonstrated experience validating computer vision or AI/ML applications, including object detection, image segmentation, facial recognition, model accuracy, and data quality.
- Preferred familiarity with AWS Lambda, AWS S3, AWS RDS, Java, Node.js, C#, Docker, Kubernetes, data science pipelines, and MLOps.
