Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance backend software solutions.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and select among available technologies with peers and stakeholders.
- Review peer code for style, correctness, testability, efficiency, and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing effects on hardware, network, service operations, and quality.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of software development experience in one or more programming languages, or one year of experience with an advanced degree.
- Two years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience designing, building, and scaling backend services, APIs, and data infrastructure.
- Ability to learn and adapt to new programming languages and frameworks as projects evolve.
- Experience developing accessible technologies is preferred.
