Responsibilities
- Build and maintain the internal Evaluation Platform that runs daily evaluations of Box’s agentic platform.
- Design and execute technical initiatives and deliver high-quality software.
- Work primarily with Java, Python, PostgreSQL, and GCP across backend engineering, infrastructure, and developer tooling.
- Support reliability, observability, production operations, and developer experience.
- Participate in team meetings, stand-ups, and one-on-ones.
- Participate in the on-call rotation and resolve production issues while on call.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong coding skills and proficiency in Java, Python, or a similar programming language.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or Amazon Web Services.
- Experience with distributed systems, observability, and production support.
- Demonstrated ability to design, build, and deploy high-quality software.
- Ability to implement new technologies in existing products.
- Proficiency in English and willingness to collaborate as a team player.
