Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in or lead design reviews and select among available technologies with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code and provide feedback on style, correctness, testability, efficiency, and other best practices.
- Contribute to and update documentation or educational content based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing effects on hardware, networks, services, and quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Two years of experience with software development, or one year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- Two years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in computer science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: two years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: two years of experience building or managing distributed systems or cloud infrastructure focused on Kubernetes.
- Preferred: two years of coding experience in Go.
- Preferred: two years of experience testing, maintaining, and launching software products and one year of software design and architecture experience.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
