Base Salary
$117k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, and verify product-focused embedded software.
- Bring up and integrate high-performance cameras and image sensors.
- Integrate and evaluate camera-pipeline video-processing algorithms.
- Develop and enhance color and power-control functions for intra-operative illumination.
- Contribute across architecture, implementation, system integration, and final product testing.
- Extend processing frameworks to new hardware platforms and develop offline simulation environments.
- Design diagnostic tools and support formal risk analysis and software mitigations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a STEM field.
- At least 8 years of industry experience developing C/C++ software for embedded systems.
- Experience developing software in an embedded Linux environment.
- Familiarity with programming and configuring hardware devices.
- Experience using scripting languages such as Python, JavaScript, or MATLAB for diagnostics or test automation.
- Experience across the product development lifecycle, including design, documentation, implementation, debugging, verification, validation, and manufacturing transfer.
- Preferred experience with imaging devices, image processing, CUDA, ML, FPGA integration, mission-critical software, and technical leadership of cross-functional software/hardware development efforts.
