Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and execute test cases and automated test scripts based on user stories.
- Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts.
- Design and maintain reusable automated testing solutions and review test coverage with stakeholders.
- Perform functional, non-functional, regression, browser, performance, capacity, stress, resiliency, infrastructure, API, UI, and end-to-end testing.
- Track test execution milestones, defects, risks, dependencies, environmental requirements, and data requirements through closure.
- Manage and maintain test environments and data while collaborating with delivery pipeline teams to resolve issues.
- Provide testing guidance and coaching to colleagues and support process compliance and documentation.
- Align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities and escalate issues appropriately.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Java-based test automation using TestNG, Karate, Rest Assured, Cucumber, BDD, Gherkin, data-driven testing, and API request/response validation.
- Experience with REST API testing using Postman, JMeter, Karate, and Rest Assured across JSON, XML, and CSV payloads.
- Experience with Oracle, Toad, Java JDBC, and automated data validation.
- Familiarity with Amazon S3, file storage, and test automation exposure in S3.
- Experience with Selenium Grid for UI automation testing.
- Experience with Micro Focus ALM/QC Center, JIRA integration, Git, and Bitbucket.
- Ability to coach others, collaborate across teams, communicate transparently, and stay current in the testing discipline.
