Base Salary
$114k - $171k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable, modular automation frameworks aligned with approved engineering patterns and standards.
- Develop BDD-aligned automated tests using Cucumber, Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, Java, and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and establish deterministic quality gates for code changes.
- Analyze test failures, improve diagnostic signal quality, and support test data, environment readiness, and observability.
- Partner with developers, product owners, and business analysts to define requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to QA engineers and promote engineering-led quality practices.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of testing experience with hands-on automation framework development and maintenance.
- Strong hands-on proficiency with Java across legacy and modern JDKs.
- Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript on Node.js and Playwright for UI automation.
- Proficiency with Cucumber-JS, Cucumber-Java, and Selenium WebDriver.
- Strong experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Tekton and Harness for pipeline orchestration, governance, approvals, quality gates, and release controls.
- Proficiency with Docker and OpenShift, including pods, routes, config maps, and secrets.
- Strong shell scripting and troubleshooting skills for containers, pipelines, cluster execution, logs, metrics, and observability.
- Knowledge of software testing techniques, testing tools, and software development and testing life-cycle methodologies.
- Bachelor’s or university degree required; master’s degree preferred.
