Base Salary
$135k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and evolve scalable application infrastructure for enterprise-scale reliability and efficiency.
- Develop integrations and connectors that ingest data from customer systems into the Assembled ecosystem.
- Create modern data foundations that transform raw product and integration data into reliable, queryable datasets.
- Support both low-latency operational workflows and large-scale analytical workloads.
- Improve observability, security, reliability, performance, and cost efficiency across platform systems.
- Build systems that power Assembled’s workforce management products and AI agents.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of engineering experience involving backend, platform, or infrastructure systems.
- Familiarity with one or more parts of the stack, including AWS, Kubernetes, Karpenter, Postgres, PgBouncer, Snowflake, Redis, Go, and Python.
- Interest in foundational platform problems spanning infrastructure, data platforms, and integrations.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, define system boundaries and abstractions, and evaluate tradeoffs.
- Strong focus on reliability, maintainability, performance, and empowering other engineers.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and connect platform work to product and business impact.
