Responsibilities
- Own complex, high-leverage engineering work across core systems, shared frameworks, and critical infrastructure.
- Define and evolve architecture across multiple products and teams.
- Write and ship production code while leading by example.
- Refactor abstractions, eliminate technical debt, and improve reliability and engineering standards.
- Mentor engineers through code review, pairing, and direct feedback.
- Contribute to the architecture and implementation of AI capabilities, including LLM pipelines and data infrastructure.
Requirements
- 8+ years of software engineering experience solving difficult technical problems in production.
- Deep full-stack expertise with strong backend, API, and infrastructure skills, including Python, React, and TypeScript.
- Experience designing and evolving systems across multiple products and teams with long-term architectural strategy.
- Cloud and DevOps fluency with Docker, Azure, AWS or GCP, and Terraform.
- Demonstrated ability to improve system performance, reliability, and scalability at scale.
- Experience building or integrating AI systems, LLMs, or large-scale data pipelines is preferred.
- Hands-on technical leadership and mentoring ability in a fast-paced startup environment.
Benefits
- Salary range of €80,000–€130,000 per year.
- Visa sponsorship is not available.
- On-site role in Munich, Bavaria, Germany, with expected in-person presence.
