Responsibilities
- Define, articulate, and drive the technical vision and strategy for the product area while securing stakeholder buy-in
- Remain hands-on and lead development of complex, critical-path components
- Drive application performance improvements for big data
- Participate in product discussions and shape roadmaps to align technical feasibility with business goals
- Lead rigorous design reviews, establish high coding standards, and improve developer experience
- Mentor and grow teammates while helping define an inclusive engineering culture
- Build core platform capabilities for the Celonis Context Model and next-generation process mining
- Enable customers to model business processes, add semantic meaning to business data, and make it efficiently queryable
- Partner with AI/ML teams to simplify and accelerate context modeling
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- 8+ years of product development experience with a strong track record of technical leadership
- Deep experience architecting complex distributed systems with large-scale data performance challenges
- Proven ability to consistently deliver high-quality output and raise broader team performance and quality standards
- Ability to turn vague product requirements into concrete, executable technical roadmaps
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for aligning diverse stakeholders and explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences
- Preferred experience with Angular and TypeScript
- Preferred experience with Java and Spring Boot
