Base Salary
$140k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and extend the NG-SIEM regional control plane in Golang.
- Lead delivery of new solutions for open-ended platform-level engineering problems.
- Improve the scalability, availability, efficiency, and durability of the LogScale and NG-SIEM data plane systems.
- Contribute to cross-team initiatives, technical designs, documentation, talks, code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
- Monitor released features in production and troubleshoot critical production issues.
- Research and propose technologies and provide technical advice on engineering decisions.
Requirements
- Experience in software development and making pragmatic tradeoffs between short-term delivery and long-term product goals.
- Experience contributing to broad technical leadership in products or services.
- Fluency in functional and object-oriented programming and the ability to learn new languages.
- Interest in distributed systems and understanding how running systems perform.
- Collaborative, responsible approach with willingness to take on ownership.
- Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, or business outcomes.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident.
- Preferred experience with Golang, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kafka, large-scale distributed systems, high scalability and availability, optimization, log management, or cybersecurity products.
