
Sr Backend Engineer, Falcon NG-SIEM, Global Serverless Platform

Base Salary
$140k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and extend the NG-SIEM control plane in Golang while maintaining scalability and high availability.
- Design and deliver new features and platform-level initiatives, including solutions to open-ended engineering problems.
- Improve the scalability of the LogScale engine and support the NG-SIEM data plane across a large distributed fleet.
- Communicate technical decisions through design documents, technical talks, and internal documentation.
- Collaborate through code reviews, pairing, documentation, design reviews, and technical guidance.
- Monitor released features in production and troubleshoot critical production issues.
- Research and propose technologies and contribute to broad technical leadership across products or services.
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident.
- Experience in software development and the ability to balance short-term delivery needs with long-term product goals.
- Experience contributing to broad technical leadership in products or services.
- Fluency in functional and object-oriented programming, with the ability to learn new languages quickly.
- Interest in distributed systems and understanding how production systems operate.
- Proven experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
- Preferred experience with Golang, commercial clouds including AWS, Azure, or GCP, and Kafka.
- Preferred hands-on experience with large-scale distributed system architecture, scalability, availability, and optimization.
- Exposure to or experience with log management or cybersecurity products.
