Base Salary
$126k - $189k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead application systems analysis, programming, system enhancements, and process improvements.
- Design and deliver scalable, resilient, cloud-native enterprise applications.
- Build large-scale, high-volume distributed systems and data processing platforms.
- Develop coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and engineering standards.
- Drive architectural excellence, scalability, resiliency, caching, messaging, and reliability practices.
- Lead distributed development teams and contractor resources to meet delivery milestones.
- Serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts and allocate work as needed.
- Assess and manage business, technology, compliance, and control risks.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of software development experience with Java-based enterprise applications.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
- Strong experience designing and building cloud-native applications.
- Extensive experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong expertise in Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and container orchestration technologies.
- Advanced knowledge of Oracle Database design, performance tuning, and optimization.
- Strong experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or Cosmos DB.
- Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other event-streaming platforms.
- Understanding of distributed computing, scalability, resiliency, caching, and messaging systems.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading distributed teams and contractor resources.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; master’s degree preferred.
