Responsibilities
- Collaborate with account teams and customer stakeholders to assess cybersecurity technologies, needs, goals, and objectives.
- Provide technical expertise in SIEM platform engineering, including log source onboarding, detection and correlation rule development, content management, performance tuning, and ecosystem integrations.
- Design and deliver customer presentations, product demonstrations, and consultative security solution engagements.
- Educate sales teams on cybersecurity solution selling and key technologies through individual, team, and company training.
- Develop security services offerings, sales collateral, system and network diagrams, and SIEM use cases in SHI lab facilities.
- Research security technologies, trends, and market behavior while maintaining current technical knowledge.
- Build and maintain relationships with customer executives, security personnel, procurement teams, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Travel to SHI, partner, and customer events as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a technical cybersecurity role.
- At least 3 years of experience in security presales consulting and 3–5 years in a similar role.
- Experience with identity management and security solutions.
- Deep technical knowledge of Security Operations, SIEM, SOAR, threat intelligence platforms, dark web scanning, CLM/PKI, and BAS controls.
- Expert technical knowledge of security solutions and the ability to run product demonstrations.
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication, relationship-building, organization, follow-up, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- General understanding of NIST, HITRUST, and CIS security frameworks.
- Preferred certifications include CISSP, relevant GIAC certifications, SSCP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, CPT, CWSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or relevant professional cybersecurity OEM certifications.
