Base Salary
$164k - $229k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to execute product and business strategy and build new user-facing products and features.
- Contribute to the full development lifecycle, including technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch.
- Review code, design documents, product specifications, and design mocks while providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to team strategy, planning, engineering standards, developer workflows, and best practices.
- Balance delivery speed and product quality while building new products and avoiding critical defects.
- Continuously develop technical and non-technical skills.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of post-internship, full-time, hands-on professional software development experience in large-scale distributed systems.
- At least 3 years of experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Go, Python, Rust, or Ruby.
- Experience with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, Thrift, or gRPC basics and designing maintainable APIs.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work and keep projects on schedule.
- Self-directed, innovative, action-oriented, and comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical audiences, including in a fully remote environment.
