Responsibilities
- Build and scale test automation, quality infrastructure, and performance testing systems.
- Lead the design and implementation of core automation frameworks, including migration from Cypress to Playwright and development of a performance testing framework.
- Define cross-team RCA and failure-triage processes and lead investigations into difficult failures.
- Address complex quality problems, including automation architecture and AI-assisted testing, from ideation through deployment.
- Take ownership of ambiguous, business-critical quality initiatives and mentor engineers across the organization.
Requirements
- 8–10+ years of experience building and scaling test automation for complex software systems.
- Strong programming ability in JavaScript or TypeScript and experience maintaining production-grade automation code.
- Track record of designing, leading, and delivering large-scale cross-functional quality initiatives.
- Experience root-causing complex failures and building failure triage processes.
- Hands-on experience integrating AI into quality workflows, including test generation and flaky-test triage.
- Significant experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership.
- Experience driving quality strategy and vision across multiple engineering environments.
