Responsibilities
- Debug and prevent concurrency issues in database operations.
- Implement database reliability practices and lead incident response.
- Develop Python tooling for automated health checks and performance diagnostics.
- Guide data modeling decisions across SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Collaborate with application teams to design safe data access patterns.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in a relevant engineering role.
- Strong foundation in distributed systems and database fundamentals.
- Deep understanding of transaction semantics and database internals.
- Proficient in Python for building automation and diagnostics tools.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB and at least one SQL database.
