Responsibilities
- Perform application functionality gap analyses and feasibility studies for enhancements.
- Design and implement new applications in collaboration with functional architects.
- Develop and document complex technical design specifications based on requirements, user stories, support tickets, and test defects.
- Assist with functional, performance, regression, and user acceptance test plans and scripts.
- Ensure applications comply with security protocols and audit controls.
- Lead peer reviews and establish engineering best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend application upgrades, patches, and new functionality.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to associates on engineering projects.
- Lead large and complex project teams and develop innovative solutions to high-impact strategic and operating problems.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience building machine learning models for classification, regression, time series, or forecasting.
- Experience deploying models in public cloud infrastructure; GCP is preferred, while AWS or Azure is acceptable.
- Experience building ML Operations pipelines for model deployment, tracking, and monitoring.
- SQL expertise and experience with Snowflake or BigQuery are highly valuable.
- Generative AI experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of managed cloud services, databases, message queues, Kubernetes clusters, Docker, and load balancers is preferred.
- Typically requires a BS/BA in a related discipline and generally 10+ years of related experience, or an MS/MA and generally 7+ years of related experience.
- Certification is required in some areas.
