Responsibilities
- Lead by example by producing extensible, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Identify dependencies and drive the development of design documents.
- Coordinate across teams, resolve conflicts, and manage areas of dependency or overlap.
- Lead product and solution architecture discussions and create architecture proposals.
- Initiate and guide experiments to evaluate technologies and determine best-fit solutions.
- Build reliable, maintainable, and scalable software for evolving business needs.
- Embed live-site readiness, monitoring, and incident response into the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- 8+ years of technical engineering experience with coding in languages including C#, Java, or Python, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of backend software engineering and development experience.
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and tools, deployment automation, and production operations.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
