Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery within an autonomous engineering pod, from discovery and problem framing through production, iteration, and outcome measurement.
  • Work directly with internal stakeholders to understand root problems and shape effective solutions.
  • Contribute to proposals, technical decision records, discovery conversations, and engineering practice improvements.
  • Use AI tooling for prototyping, agentic coding, and delivery acceleration, while helping the wider team adopt these practices.
  • Maintain high standards through test-driven development, disciplined code review, and a strong focus on quality.
  • Coach and support less experienced engineers in the pod.

Requirements

  • Full-stack capability, or strong expertise in one direction combined with genuine competence in the other.
  • Experience owning solution design, production delivery, and ongoing iteration across the full delivery lifecycle.
  • Strong engineering fundamentals, including test-driven development, code review, and commitment to quality.
  • Active experience using AI-assisted development tools for prototyping and agentic coding.
  • Proven experience building, deploying, and maintaining AI systems in production as reliable and monitored services.
  • Strong written communication and the ability to contribute to discovery conversations and technical decision-making.
  • Ability to work effectively with ambiguity, limited process overhead, and incomplete information.
  • Experience in EdTech, regulated industries, or other complex domains is preferred.
  • Professional experience with Python, React, or Vue is advantageous but not essential.
