Responsibilities
- Test payment-platform components across functional, performance, resilience, and security dimensions.
- Create and maintain automated tests using appropriate automation frameworks.
- Advocate for Quality Engineering practices including Shift-Left Testing, early quality involvement, risk-based testing, and continuous quality improvement.
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to embed quality throughout delivery.
- Help validate production behavior and quality in a high-throughput payment-processing environment.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of testing experience across functional, performance, resilience, and security testing.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Karate.
- Experience with performance-testing tools such as Gatling.
- Hands-on experience with microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD, and Git-based workflows.
- Fluent English and comfortable working through collaboration and open communication.
- Preferred: experience with TDD, BDD, or ATDD in complex system landscapes.
- Preferred: familiarity with SEPA, Instant Payments, TIP CT, INT CT, PAIN, MX, XML, JSON, and ISO 20022.
- Preferred: experience with performance optimization, monitoring, observability, or log analytics in high-throughput transaction systems.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with Cassandra/CQL, Java/Spring, Kafka, or ELKaaS.
- Preferred: certifications in Software Testing, Payments, or Cloud/DevOps domains.
