Responsibilities
- Apply Mapbox products and technologies to solve customer challenges.
- Deliver technical presentations and solutions to senior decision makers and senior engineers.
- Respond to technical customer inquiries, including RFIs and RFQs, with technical documentation and feasibility assessments.
- Create solution architectures, white papers, and quick start guides to demonstrate implementation of specific use cases.
- Provide structured feedback and advocate for important features and use cases with Mapbox product and engineering teams.
- Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge across the Solutions Architect community.
- Partner with car makers and Business Development Managers to architect solutions to complex location problems and increase product adoption.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in software engineering, technical consulting, solutions architecture, or product management.
- At least 8 years of pre-sales experience partnering with Business Development Managers or sales representatives on technical demonstrations and proof of concepts.
- Demonstrated experience solving large, complex customer problems consultatively within the automotive industry.
- Strong written and verbal Korean and English communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts and architectures to developers, senior engineers, and senior decision makers.
- Strategic and creative problem-solving skills, including whiteboarding solutions and championing strategies with CTOs and senior stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
- Ability and desire to learn and teach new languages, skills, techniques, and platforms.
