Responsibilities
- Act as the first responder for software integration issues and drive them to resolution.
- Verify end-to-end behavior across the software stack to ensure it meets requirements.
- Serve as a feedback conduit between the Core team and other teams relying on software systems.
- Develop automated system integration tooling and strategies for testing.
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous software testing and integration.
- Manage software releases to various test rigs and enforce release criteria.
- Ensure robust mechanisms for Over-The-Air software updates and backward compatibility.
- Capture institutional knowledge through clear integration procedures and documentation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with 4+ years on embedded or mission-critical systems.
- Proficiency in Rust or strong systems programming experience in C/C++.
- Strong proficiency in Python for test automation and tooling.
- Experience with PIL and HIL test setups and automating test procedures.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and communication protocols.
- Hardware debugging skills with tools like logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
- Proven ability to debug across software, firmware, and hardware boundaries.
