Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and automate modern cloud infrastructures using Terraform and configuration-management tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
- Develop, optimize, and operate CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Administer and optimize Kubernetes clusters across AKS, EKS, GKE, and on-premises environments.
- Implement deployment strategies, GitOps approaches, scalability, high availability, and platform security.
- Establish monitoring and observability solutions using Datadog, Dynatrace, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Implement IAM, certificate-management, vulnerability-management, security, and compliance requirements.
- Advise customers on multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud strategies and help them establish modern DevOps organizations.
- Support technical architecture decisions and mentor less experienced colleagues.
- Travel occasionally to customer locations.
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, or a comparable qualification.
- At least 6 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or cloud engineering.
- Advanced knowledge of Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, including modular architectures.
- Extensive experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern automation processes.
- Strong experience operating and administering Kubernetes.
- Experience with at least one hyperscaler: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Strong knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language such as Python or Go.
- Experience with OpenShift or Rancher is preferred.
- Fluent German at C1 level and fluent English.
- Willingness to travel occasionally to customers.
