$130k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build security-critical agents that automate network and systems defense.
- Use AI to discover and fix security issues in Starshield infrastructure and systems.
- Guide and test AI integrations into new and existing Starshield systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve security through automation and AI.
- Maintain production systems and improve their security posture through implementation and recommendations to other teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or another STEM discipline, or 2+ years of professional security software development experience in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with one or more software development languages, such as Python, C++, or Golang.
- Experience designing and implementing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or other enterprise-scale infrastructure.
- Experience designing and implementing solutions with LLMs, LLM-based agents, or adjacent AI topics.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of cryptography, authentication, network security, and operating system security; experience securing autonomous agents; LLM red-teaming and penetration testing; LLM deployment and infrastructure management; and security improvements for complex systems.
- Preferred qualifications include an advanced technical or engineering degree and an active Top Secret, Top Secret SCI, or DOE Level Q clearance.
- Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance and be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed.
- Must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.
Benefits
- Base salary range is $130,000.00-$160,000.00 for Level 1 or $150,000.00-$195,000.00 for Level 2.
