Responsibilities
- Lead customer engineering engagements from workflow discovery and architecture through implementation, evaluation, and handoff.
- Assess customer repositories, data systems, infrastructure, security controls, and development practices to identify opportunities and constraints.
- Build and validate customer workflows, integrations, tool gateways, evaluation harnesses, reference implementations, and automations.
- Establish baselines, quality and security guardrails, and evaluation methods for workflow reliability and usefulness.
- Create reusable tools, architectures, deployment patterns, and feedback based on recurring customer challenges.
- Document technical decisions and results and establish ownership for production release, operation, and maintenance.
- Use evidence to recommend workflow expansion, redirection, or termination.
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience in software development, deployment engineering, data or infrastructure engineering, technical consulting, or solutions architecture.
- Ability to build, debug, and evaluate production-relevant software and quickly understand unfamiliar systems.
- Experience actively using AI coding tools and understanding how agents can automate complete workflows.
- Technical depth in software engineering, data systems, cloud infrastructure, or enterprise integrations.
- Understanding of software testing, release, operations, security, reliability, and access requirements in enterprise environments.
- Ability to turn ambiguous customer problems into practical technical plans with estimates, acceptance criteria, and tradeoffs.
- Effective communication and collaboration with technical leaders and hands-on engineers.
