Responsibilities
- Conduct security assessments and threat modeling for cloud-native and SaaS products.
- Review cloud application architectures and promote secure-by-default controls.
- Build and maintain automation for security controls and detection.
- Participate in cloud security investigations and drive remediation.
- Communicate security risks and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead security projects, mentor security practitioners, and improve security processes, tooling, and documentation.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise and experience in security-focused roles.
- Experience with application security, particularly web applications.
- Experience coding in Java, Python, or Go, plus at least one scripting language.
- Experience providing subject-matter expertise and guidance to stakeholders and engineering functions.
- Experience leading large-scale projects from start to finish and mentoring security practitioners.
- Experience with cloud security architecture and infrastructure using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Hands-on experience identifying and mitigating AI/LLM-specific risks such as prompt injection, data leakage, and model manipulation during architectural reviews.
- Ability to read and understand code and use AI agents and modern AI developer ecosystems for software development and code contributions.
- Preferred qualifications include experience securing agentic AI systems, security-community contributions, industry presentations, or collaboration with compliance, privacy, IT, or networking teams.
