Base Salary
$180k - $290k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure for growth and experimentation.
- Build and optimize analytics pipelines for acquisition, activation, retention, and other product and growth metrics.
- Develop automated workflows for user onboarding, campaign delivery, and performance tracking.
- Support A/B testing frameworks and integrate them into production systems.
- Automate deployment and rollout of growth feature flags and tests.
- Partner with Growth Product Managers, Data Engineers, analysts, data science, and backend teams to define technical requirements.
- Translate business goals into technical specifications and system designs.
- Provide guidance on performance, reliability, and scalability trade-offs.
- Implement monitoring and alerting for growth infrastructure services.
- Troubleshoot production issues and optimize uptime and performance.
- Ensure data quality and consistency for reporting and decision-making.
- Evaluate tools, frameworks, and platforms that accelerate growth engineering.
- Drive infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD, and automated-testing best practices.
- Train and mentor teammates on growth infrastructure principles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience building backend or infrastructure-focused services.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Go, or JavaScript.
- Experience with cloud platform infrastructure such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Understanding of data pipelines, ETL processes, and databases.
- Experience with CI/CD systems and infrastructure as code, including Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with experimentation platforms such as StatSig, Segment, LaunchDarkly, or an in-house platform.
- Familiarity with growth metrics and product analytics tools such as Amplitude is preferred.
- Experience designing and scaling A/B testing systems and feature-flag orchestration is preferred.
- Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and distributed systems is preferred.
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Datadog is preferred.
