Base Salary
$81k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design automated software used for production testing, including multi-unit capabilities, automated fault detection, and test reporting.
- Develop automated test solutions using LabVIEW and TestStand.
- Develop, execute, and document software test plans, setup procedures, and reports.
- Support design verification and validation testing.
- Analyze test data and provide technical conclusions and recommendations to design teams.
- Collaborate with RF design, systems, manufacturing, quality, and production teams to resolve technical issues.
- Create and maintain test documentation, software requirements, and configuration-controlled records.
- Transition test methods from development into manufacturing and production environments.
- Apply Design for Test and Design for Manufacturing principles.
- Troubleshoot and root-cause hardware and measurement issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in software programming, automated test, software integration, or related engineering roles.
- Basic hands-on experience designing, integrating, and releasing software test systems using RF measurements and automated test solutions.
- Experience with Python and C++ is preferred.
- Proficiency with LabVIEW and TestStand programming environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with Linux, VHDL, Zynq, Zed Boards, and Arty Boards is preferred.
- Experience with wireless communications, telemetry, SATCOM, aerospace or defense RF systems, digital modulation analysis, communications measurements, test automation, and data analysis is preferred.
- Understanding of digital communications, bandwidth, throughput, bit error rate, encryption systems, digital logic, differential communication protocols, RF principles, schematics, block diagrams, interface control documents, and test requirements is preferred.
- Experience supporting design-to-production transitions and deriving system requirements from product specifications, RVTMs, VCRMs, and validation plans is preferred.
- Ability to obtain a security secret clearance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
