Responsibilities
- Analyze software requirements, technology architectures, system interdependencies, and application stacks.
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated tests for functional, regression, performance, and non-functional requirements.
- Improve automation frameworks and build reusable libraries across technology stacks and business lines.
- Create test plans, test cases, scenarios, usage cases, acceptance criteria, and automation backlogs.
- Develop automated testing tools and software validation processes, and track coverage, defects, fixes, and mitigation techniques.
- Collaborate with development and Agile delivery teams to improve continuous deployment practices and deployment quality.
- Work with business subject matter experts, users, testers, developers, internal stakeholders, and clients to understand requirements and resolve problems.
- Perform backend/database programming for key projects and document automation processes, test cases, debug data, and performance reviews.
- Monitor automation quality, project-plan adherence, issue resolution, deployment risks, and client escalations.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience.
- FullStack SDET experience or skills.
- Ability to design, program, simulate, test, and validate automation products or processes.
- Experience developing automated testing tools, frameworks, reusable libraries, test cases, and validation processes.
- Ability to perform backend/database programming for key projects.
- Ability to collaborate with development teams and business, technical, testing, and client stakeholders.
- Ability to create technical specifications, resolve complex design issues, document code, and follow accepted design patterns.
- Knowledge of industry standards and software quality practices.
