Base Salary
$115k - $130k/yr
Responsibilities
- Automate cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools and execute changes through code review and CI tools.
- Administer the software platform, including Kubernetes, Pulumi Cloud, ArgoCD, CircleCI, and PostgreSQL.
- Contribute to platform projects using TypeScript, Python, Go, or Bash.
- Evaluate, design, and implement continuous integration, continuous delivery, and DevOps productivity solutions.
- Identify observability and configurability gaps with product engineers and make code-level improvements.
- Create tooling that improves developer experience and delivery effectiveness.
- Manage incident-response runbooks, measure operational performance, and make incremental improvements.
- Participate in a weekly primary on-call rotation, respond to platform incidents, and perform blameless root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Proficiency with GCP or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
- Experience using AI-powered coding assistants or agents such as Claude Code.
- Familiarity with TypeScript, Go, or similar languages.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
- Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with version control tools such as Git and GitHub.
- Familiarity with observability platforms such as New Relic or Datadog is a bonus.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration abilities.
