Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support scalable enterprise software applications.
- Build responsive front-end applications and reusable UI components using React, Vite, TypeScript, and modern web-development practices.
- Develop back-end applications, RESTful APIs, integration services, and data-access components using Python and FastAPI.
- Develop cloud-native applications using AWS, containers, serverless services, microservices, and event-driven patterns.
- Integrate applications with enterprise platforms, identity services, databases, cloud services, and third-party systems.
- Develop AI-enabled applications using Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, and related technologies, and integrate predictive models and AI capabilities.
- Support model-serving APIs and MLOps processes for deployment and monitoring.
- Create unit, integration, end-to-end, regression, and automated acceptance tests.
- Apply secure software-development practices and remediate findings from security and code-quality tools.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated deployment, logging, monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards.
- Troubleshoot application defects, production incidents, integration issues, and performance bottlenecks.
- Maintain technical documentation and collaborate with product, UX/UI, QA, data, cybersecurity, architecture, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, estimation, release planning, and occasional off-hours production support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–9 years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Strong full-stack software development experience, including software design, object-oriented programming, design patterns, RESTful APIs, microservices, cloud-native applications, and containerization.
- Proficiency in Python, TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, SQL, FastAPI, React, and Vite.
- Experience integrating RESTful or GraphQL APIs with databases, enterprise platforms, and third-party services.
- Experience with AWS-based application development, Git, CI/CD, automated testing, code-quality controls, Docker, and production deployment.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, RBAC, secrets management, secure APIs, OWASP Top 10, and application-security or code-quality tools.
- Understanding of Generative AI concepts including LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, and AI-assisted development.
- Experience with GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Cursor, or equivalent approved platforms.
- Strong analytical, debugging, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with experience delivering software using Agile methodologies.
- Preferred experience includes UI component libraries, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, monitoring tools, relational and NoSQL databases, message queues, MLOps, GenAI frameworks, vector databases, semantic search, and regulated industries.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Developer or Solutions Architect, software-development, DevOps, Kubernetes, application-security, AI, machine-learning, or Scaled Agile Framework certifications.
