Base Salary
$388k - $558k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement microservices for analytics, insights, discovery, and visualizations.
- Design orchestration systems managing thousands of globally distributed appliances and devices.
- Build data models and APIs to manage and maintain the Open Connect fleet.
- Develop scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant services that improve CDN operations.
- Architect solutions spanning multiple applications and domains, including networking, video, and gaming.
- Configure, manage, observe, debug, and continuously improve the Open Connect platform.
Requirements
- 5+ years of expertise in Java or a similar object-oriented language.
- Deep understanding of cloud architecture and application deployment.
- Experience building and supporting highly scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant services.
- Experience designing, implementing, and debugging systems interacting with large datasets.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Bonus: knowledge of CDN architectures and TCP/IP, BGP, and DNS.
- Bonus: experience with MySQL, Postgres, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Kafka, or Redis.
- Bonus: familiarity with GraphQL, Hive, Pig, Hadoop, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or WebSockets.
