Base Salary
$106k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the modernization and re-engineering of a legacy Struts-based application into scalable enterprise solutions.
- Develop modernization roadmaps and migrate applications from IBM WebSphere to Java platforms using Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Angular.
- Analyze business processes, application functionality, integrations, dependencies, modernization opportunities, and migration risks.
- Design and develop resilient, scalable, secure, maintainable, and high-performing enterprise applications.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, code reviews, design sessions, and engineering best-practice adoption.
- Lead WebSphere migration, middleware modernization, application deployment, and production cutover planning.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, systems analysts, quality engineers, and product owners.
- Drive automation, observability, performance optimization, technical risk analysis, issue resolution, and delivery governance.
- Mentor engineers and establish development standards for Java, Angular, Spring Boot, API development, cloud adoption, and application modernization.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of professional experience.
- Experience with Struts is required.
- Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Angular is required.
- Ability to provide technical leadership, lead modernization initiatives, and guide development teams.
- Must be authorized to work without company sponsorship, as no visa sponsorship is available.
